What is 'Royalty Free Music'?

This is a type of licensed music. Payment for the use of music is made once, only at the time of purchase license.

Note: Public performance royalties are still owed to the composer of the track every time their music is performed publicly (television, radio, etc.).  However, you/your client never pay these royalties. They are paid by the network broadcasting the music.

What is ‘No Copyright Music’?

This is music that you can use without any restrictions for free, without buying a license to use. Videos and projects with this music can be monetized without claims of copyright infringement. Add links to this site in the description of your video or project.

Can I use ‘Royalty Free Music’ in my YouTube video without buying a license?

Yes of course. You can use these music tracks in your videos for free. There will likely be copyright infringement complaints on YouTube, don’t worry, this is normal. This music is registered in the Content ID system. Your video will not be removed, but video monetization will be limited.

My video YouTube received Copyright Claims, what should I do?

You have received a copyright notice. You have nothing to worry about. Here are some tips and clarifications:

If you do not want to monetize your video on YouTube – You do not need to take any action. Your video is normal, no restrictions will be imposed on it except for monetization (you will not be able to monetize your video). Your video will not be deleted.

If you want to monetize your video on YouTube – You need to buy a license for each track that you use. After purchasing a license, you will receive a license certificate that must be shown on YouTube in order to dispute the claim. Tracks from the ‘Royalty Free Music’ category are accompanied by a ‘Buy License’ link. After clicking, you are taken to the AudioJungle website where you can purchase a license to use.

I need to buy a license to use your music tracks in my videos?

If you want to monetize your YouTube video, you need to buy a license to commercially use the track. After purchasing a license, you will receive a license certificate, which must be presented to YouTube in order to dispute the claim. You can also access unlimited commercial use of music with a Patreon membership. If you become a patron of SoundAudio, you will receive an unlimited number of required certifications for commercial use.

I’m a freelance video producer. Does my license cover my clients?

Yes. The license you purchase applies to clients who hire you to create their projects. You can send them a license if they need license confirmation or if they need to revoke their Content ID claim.

Can I use a music in multiple projects?

Yes. Once you have a license to use music, you can use that music as many times as you want, in as many projects as you want as long as the projects are covered by the usage terms of the license.
